The Sandbox is the first private practice in West Virginia dedicated to providing therapy for only kids & teens.

We’re looking for therapists who:
LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, or LPC

Mental Health Therapist in office full-time (South Charleston, WV)
At The Sandbox, we believe therapists do their best work when they feel supported. Our goal is to create an environment where clinicians have the space, tools, and collaboration needed to thrive.
This is a contracted position requiring the clinicial to bill a minimum of 20 hourly sessions per week. therapists keep their own schedules with room for flexibility. You will be given your own office at The Sandbox and need to be able to work locally in the office during full-time day hours.

Pay: $70,000+ per year

Position Details
Requirements:
Master’s level degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling (LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC)
Ability to provide in-person clinical services in South Charleston, WV
Willingness to maintain a minimum caseload expectation of 20 client sessions per week
Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and families
Professional liability insurance required
Strong clinical documentation and ethical practice standards
Open-minded, affirming, and LGBTQIA+ friendly approach to care
Commitment to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and non-discriminatory environment
